The Xylote.com license agreement?
All our sounds, samples and music tracks that you find on Xylote.com
website are royalty free. That means that you pay the price once for
each product and you can use it in your projects without having to pay
additional royalties to anyone.
The category "Film / Cinema" has a special license that gives you the
rights you to use the sounds only for one project. If you have two
projects or more you need to purchase the sounds each time for each new
project. However this category is only for releases on the big screen
or movie broadcasting series.

clicking here. All the contents of this website are LICENSED to you NOT
sold. If you have doubts don't hesitate to contact us.
What is a sample pack?
A sample pack can be a collection of samples, sounds and loops that
are archived in an uncompressed zip file to be downloaded at once.
What formats I can find on Xylote.com?
All our sample packs generally have Wav Acid or Apple Loops at the
sample resolution of 16-bit and 44.100 Hz, but we also have EXS24
instruments in some of our sample packs.
What is a professional construction kit?
A professional construction kit contains instruments loops like drums,
basses, strings, etc. basically a fully produced song without to much
reverb so you can add it as you like.
Do you sell ring-tones for mobile phones?
Yes. To send the ring tones to you mobile you need to log-in to your account and click on the mobile icon from each sound.
 
The fixed price for each ring-tone is 0.50 EUR even if you see a different
price near the icon. That price is only for professional use and not
for mobile ring-tones, so each time you send a sound, music loop or an
entire song you'll be charged with 0.50 EUR.
What is a Sampler?
A sampler is a software or hardware device that records and play back
sounds at a different pitch, speed, length and can be used with a MIDI
keyboard. Most of the music creation software today have a sampler
included for example Pro Tools, Logic or Cubase.
What is a Sample or a Loop?
The term "Sample" is used to describe any digitally recorded audio that
is mixed with other sounds within a music production. A "Sample" can be
a drum sound that is recorded from a real drum set and then inserted in
a software or hardware sampler/keyboard to be played in a musical
production.
Some samples like for example a "drum beat" can be used repeatedly in a
song and they automatically become a "loop". Loops can be with special
setting that tells the software/hardware sampler the tempo, key, length
and more.
What are WAV Acid and Apple Loops?
Wav Acid (Win) are ".wav" files with total control over the initial
tempos and are compatible with software like ACID Pro, Pro Tools,
SONAR, GarageBand, Nuendo, Logic, Cubase, Reason, Digital Performer,
Session, Sequel, Live, FL Studio and other compatible products.
Apple Loops (Mac) are ".aif" files with total control over the initial
tempos and are compatible with software like GarageBand, Logic Pro,
Apple SoundTrack, Logic Express, Final Cut Pro.
The purchased sounds have a download limit?
After purchasing the sounds you have 24 hours to download them but if
you cannot download them in this time please contact us using the
customer support page.
What is Music on Hold (MOH)?
Music on Hold is a term used in business telephone lines when the
silence must be filled with something to entertain a client until an
operator responds.
All the MOH tracks are WAV files at 44.100 Hz, 16-bit, Mono (CD Quality)
